Bison Project (2007-2010)
The Bison project (Boiler Information System ON efficiency)
is funded by the EU.
The main project outcome is the interactive web calculation tool www.boilerinfo.eu. The tool aims at reducing domestic heating costs in the EU by providing consumers with appropriate guidance on central heating appliances.
Main achieved results
- Development and implementation of the website www.boilerinfo.eu - providing
the options:
- Languages: English, Spanish, Greek, Portuguese, Danish

Finding a new boiler (e.g. for a new house)

Replacing an existing boiler
- Seeing a list of all the boilers in the database
- Establishment of the boiler database containing more
than 1100 boilers.
- Connecting the calculation tool to the boiler database.
