Boiler information
Electrical consumption
To run, the boiler needs to be supplied with an appropriate fuel (gas,
oil fuel, wood,
), and often with electricity. Some components
of the boiler, such as fans, oil pumps, ignition electrodes
need to be supplied with electricity in order to operate.
All the electricity which is consumed by the boiler is called electrical
consumption.
Most of the consumption is due to the pump on the boiler or on the
insulation.
The control of the pump is very important and has a great effect on
the annual electrical consumption of the boiler. Ask your installer
for further details.A study was carried out (2004-2005) about
electricity consumption of CH boiler.
Here you will find the detailled results.
