Sanitary hot water production

The sanitary hot water can be produced through different technologies. A significant part is produced by "Combi" hot water boilers that produce both space heating and sanitary hot water.

The other solution is a water heater, a kind of boiler that is designed to produce exclusively sanitary hot water. This can either be done by an appliance that produces instantaneous hot water (the burner starts to heat the water when the user opens the tap) or a storage system (a water tank is kept at a constant temperature by the burner that starts when the temperature in the tank becomes lower than the temperature required by the thermostat).
