Traditional or condensing, how to choose?
A condensing boiler will in principle always generate energy savings;
the question is to know how much compared to the investment. The choice
between condensing and traditional boilers will mainly depend on the
following factors:
- Is your installation adapted to condensing boilers?
- Is your annual consumption high enough to justify the price
difference between condensing and traditional (this depends also
on the energy price).
The price difference between traditional and condensing tends
to decrease, but this varies from country to country. So always ask
your installer about the relevance of buying a condensing boilers.
You can also use the interactive tool on this website to calculate
